Castling

In conjunction with a rook, the king may make a special move called castling. To castle, move the king two sqaures toward the rook, then move the rook to the square leaped over by the king

Castling is legal only if all the following conditionas are met:

1) The squares between the king and rook are vacant.

2) The king and rook stand on their original squares and neither has moved during the game.

3) The king is not in check.

4) Neither the square leaped over by the king nor the one to which he moves is attacked by an enemy piece.
